WOWnature, Rai Pubblicità and Next14: Together for a Greener Future
On 14th and 21st September, Rai 3 broadcasted a three-episode branded content series produced by WOWnature, a project by Etifor—an environmental consulting firm originating from the University of Padua and certified as a B Corp—in collaboration with Rai Pubblicità and Next14. Rai Pubblicità played a key role in the distribution and promotion of the program. Next14 was pivotal in every aspect of production, overseeing the project’s execution with an innovative and professional approach.
The series shared inspiring stories of success in reforestation, biodiversity conservation, and natural regeneration, offering concrete solutions to address the climate crisis. WOWnature’s “super forests” took centre stage—woods specifically designed to meet the unique needs of each territory. These forests not only absorb CO₂ and produce timber but also recharge aquifers, protect biodiversity, improve landscapes, and prevent hydrogeological risks. Additionally, they provide spaces for art, culture, and educational activities.
Here are some particularly innovative initiatives: Bosco Limite (Padua), supported by Pasta Sgambaro, aims to improve the local environment creating a forest designed to recharge the aquifers of the region; Riserva Naturale Torbiere del Sebino, promoted by Molino Pordenone, highlights the importance of wetlands for biodiversity conservation and CO2 absorption; Arte Sella, the renowned artistic park in Borgo Valsugana (Trentino), has become a symbol of renewal with the support of Levico Acque after the damage caused by the Vaia storm.
Thanks to Next14’s production, which successfully translated environmental commitment into an engaging visual narrative, and thanks to the content promoted by Rai Pubblicità, each episode presented models that could be replicated, inspiring viewers to become more proactive in environmental protection. The series also featured public institutions, citizens, and companies that chose to support projects generating concrete and verifiable impacts.
Opera Verde is more than just a TV series; it is an educational initiative aimed at raising awareness among the public, businesses, and local administrations about the importance of sustainability.
