TIM Music Awards celebrated its 18th anniversary on September 13th and 14th with a sold-out double event live taking place at Arena di Verona, in prime time on Rai 1. Carlo Conti, host and artistic director of the upcoming Sanremo Festival, alongside Vanessa Incontrada presented the prestigious Italian music awards to the most beloved artists.
TIM brought energy to the show with content and live broadcasts from the TIM Data Room, set up backstage at the Verona Arena. Trends and fun facts about the featured artists were revealed through digital data analysis. The brand awarded the artist who best expressed the values of “La forza delle connessioni” through their music.
The winner of the contest launched on the MyTIM app during the last edition of TIM Summer Hits was awarded the opportunity to join the event. Among many contributions received, in which participants have shared with TIM a special moment, an emotion, or a memory related to a song, the jury selected the video of a lucky fan who had the opportunity to access the backstage before the show, spending a special evening in the prestigious Arena di Verona and receiving an unforgettable prize.
Both TIM Music Awards and TIM Summer Hits are part of “La forza delle connessioni” communication campaign, which encourages people to cultivate human relationships and experience powerful emotions, like those conveyed through music and major events.
For the second year, Citroën sponsored the awards with its brand activism initiative “GënerationAMI – a scuola di anti bullismo”. The project is aimed at promoting a culture against bullying and cyberbullying, particularly among young people. At the centre of attention was the Citroën AMI, a 100% electric vehicle, which can be driven starting at age fourteen.
Cantine Maschio, once again a sponsor of the TIM Music Awards, supported Italian music with dedicated segments on Rai Radio 2.

Special guests included Pio and Amedeo, Stefano De Martino, and Andrea Delogu.
