Compared to the September 2023 average, Affari Tuoi gains +23% among 15-64, +29% among men 15-34 and an impressive +50% among women 15-34: results that highlight the success of entrusting Rai 1’s viewership stronghold to a young and versatile talent like De Martino. The show surpassed the 5,000,000 total audience mark on September 16th.
Entertainment still has lots of excitement to offer. Starting on 10th September, Rai 2 is hosting The Floor – Ne rimarrà solo uno, a game show with Ciro Priello and Fabio Balsamo, where 100 contestants compete for a prize of 100,000 euros. On Monday, 16th September, Lo spaesato premiered, an on-the-road show offering a humorous take on Italy, hosted by Teo Mammucari. Ballando con le stelle returns on 28th September, with the queen of entertainment, Milly Carlucci, who has brought the passion and beauty of dance into Italian homes for years. On 30th September, Massimo Giletti will host Lo stato delle cose, a weekly show featuring interviews, investigations, and numerous guests, marking the journalist’s return to Rai.
Enriching the genre’s offering, an anniversary that has marked the history of Italian culture: on 6th October, Rai celebrates 100 years of radio and 70 years of television. The event Cento – Un secolo di servizio pubblico will take viewers on a journey through the major milestones of this history, hosted by Carlo Conti, who will also continue another important journey leading up to Sanremo.
Three fiction titles premiered in September: Kostas, the series about the lead investigator of the Athens homicide division, starring Stefano Fresi; Brennero, a thriller about the serial killer known as “the Monster of Bolzano,” featuring Elena Radonicich and Matteo Martari; and Sempre al tuo fianco, in which the protagonist Sara (played by Ambra Angiolini) tackles Civil Protection cases.
October brings even more captivating stories: there will be both new releases, that are already generating significant hype, and some cutting edges with beloved characters who, over the years, have won an increasingly broad audience continuing to achieve success: Mike is set to premiere, a two-part miniseries paying tribute to one of the iconic faces of Italian television; Teresa Battaglia 2, the latest chapter in the saga of the profiler fighting against serial killers as well as the looming threat of Alzheimer’s, starring Elena Sofia Ricci and Giuseppe Spata; and Don Matteo 14, the new season of one of Rai’s longest-running fiction series.
